Skateboarding and painting go hand in hand. I feel like some of the abstract shapes I create on a canvas mirror the act of skating sometimes; The spontaneous flicks, adjustments feel like instinctive movements, like the spacial awareness you have in the moment when skating.

Often the shapes I draw end up looking like ramps or they look like the movement of a foot on a board whilst doing a trick. Other times it just looks like some cosmic shit or puked up paint.

I’ve always been into drawing and creating stuff, when I started skateboarding I got hyped on graphics by Yakahead, Mr Jago and Dave Dixon among others which inspired me to paint and draw on griptape, canvases and walls.
