The Last Resort VM006-Moc is a dope-looking, versatile moc-toe skate shoe that is made for shredding but also can be worn in a load of different scenarios throughout your day, well past your skate session.
Inspired by Clarks Wallabees, they’re more than a wannabe; the VM006 improves on the original in a lot of ways and stands out. So after skating them for a while, we’ve found out everything you need to know about them before you go out and pick them up.

(1.) – Special Feature: “Moc-Toe”
The VM006 does not look like a traditional skate shoe, which is by far its biggest benefit.
Sometimes you want to go skate but be able to wear a pair of shoes that suits the place you go to after the session, and these shoes are ideal for that situation.
(2.) – Upper: “Suede Made”
The VM006’s suede upper gives the shoe a premium, classic look. They also come in two premium upper options: Croc and Pony Hair.
But on all models, the canvas lining complements the upper, maintaining the shoe’s simple and functional feel.
The smooth lines, big suede panels, double stitching, and single stitching give the VM006 a timeless look that makes it one of the cleanest-looking skate shoes available right now.
As a vulc shoe; they are close to your feet and have great board feel but with the elevation and protection of a standard cupsole.
(3.) – The Toe: ‘All Rounder”
The toe is rounded but pointy enough to not only look like Wallabees but, more importantly, give you a really solid flick.
If you want fully skateable Wallabees, the VM006 are the ones; if you want a bulky cupsole skate shoe that looks like Wallabees, look elsewhere or try and skate the originals and realise how tough that is, with the sole that it has.
(4.) – LaceS: ‘Simple, complementary”
The rounded laces that come in the box match the VM006 you buy. So, the all-black model comes with matching black laces; the coloured models, like the blue ones we skated, come with matching blue laces. If you get another colourway, you get laces that fit them, but you also get a spare flat-lace pair in the box too.
(5.) – Insoles ‘Last Resort Cloud Cush Standard’
The gold accents on the black VM006’s Cloudy Cush insoles are a dope touch. On the colour models, they have a white, lighter-toned insole which looks clean.
(6.) – Heels: “Thin and tight fit”
The VM006’s thin canvas lining gives you great board feel, but it means there is not a lot of padding overall in these; if you want thick shoes, these are not them.
Although the Cloudy Cush insoles do offer more than enough protection for your feet, if you wanted to hit up a big drop, you can easily make that happen in these.
(7.) – Outsole: “Classic Simplicity”
The foxing on the vulcanised outsole gives the VM006 a textured look, fully departing from the Wallabee, not only looking different but adding grip where it’s needed too.
(8.) – Soles: “Sick Grip”
The Cloudy Cush sole tread pattern on the VM006 is really grippy. It lasts for a long time, and the pattern looks super tight as it wedges alongside the outsole.
(9.) – Skateability: Fit “Get the Half Size down”
Get the VM006 a half size down than you would normally.
(10.) – Skateability: Break-in time “ Straight out of the box”
The VM006 broke in straight out of the box. Within an hour, we were skating in them like we had been for weeks.
(11.) – Skateability: Street “Curb Your Enthusiasm”
The VM006 looks as good on your feet skating a street spot as they do walking in. For small banks, mid-sized ledges, curbs and small drops, these are ideal.
(12.) – Skateability: Transition “Sick for 6f-8ft and under”
Skating transition in these shoes feels solid. You’re going to be fine nailing grinds and airs on ramps of basically all sizes in these.

The Last Resort VM006 are available in a wide range of colourways including: A sleek monochrome Black/Black, a classic contrasted Black/Gum, a dual-toned Steel Grey/ Black, vibrant Sun Orange /Gum, earthy Golden Brown/Gum, a very rich Brown Stone/Gum, deep Dark Navy/Gum, light tan Sand/Gum, and the Dusty Blue/Black that we skated in the most.
As we said before, they’re also available in two premium upper fabric models, a textured Pony Hair edition, and super detailed flamboyant Reptile/Black.

The VM006 is one of the most unique shoes we’ve skated. Skate shoes don’t have to be athletic-style to look cool, and when you roll in the VM006, you don’t just have a dope skate; you know no matter how it goes, you’re going to look good.
