Nick is a pro skater and artist who runs Isle Skateboards

Skateboarding and making art both inspire me. I started skating because I saw some cool looking kids doing trick on a park bench and from then on I knew I had to do it too.

It’s the same with painting. I would see paintings in a gallery and feel the exact same drive to make something. For me, skating and painting are linked through that rhythm. They share a connection that I find hard to describe but that I just sense.

Raphaël Zarka is a major inspiration to me he once said, ‘skateboarding is an avant-garde posture on modernist architecture’, so rad.

The No Comply Network is heading in the right direction as connecting the dots for creative minds is forever important.
